February Decorations Going Up!

For the past 3-4 months my church has been studying 1 John. We are on chapter four right now. What a great chapter about God's love. And so, for the month of February my class's focus is going to be on God's love for us and because of His love, our love for others. To help our minds focus on it, I put up a giant heart with 1 John 4:10-11 written on it: "This is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and send His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear Friends, since God loved us we also ought to love on another." 

I love having my students illustrate Bible verses and so on Friday, my students illustrated this verse. Most drew crosses showing God's love through sending Jesus.
